Overseas Medical Mission Despite Dr Goh’s busy work schedule, he makes time for things that matter. Just within Asia, there are many places where there is an abundant need for medical workers and where people do not even have basic healthcare. Dr Goh has been on several mission trips as he firmly believes in playing his part in society and helping God’s people in less fortunate areas.

His mission trips have taken him to various parts of Indonesia including the island of Sumba (across from Timor), Northern Thailand and China. During these trips, he not only does medical work but also shares his faith and Christian beliefs if there is an appropriate opportunity.

It was through one of the trips to Sumba where Dr Goh met Lukas (see article under Media Article on thyroid surgery) and felt a calling to help him lead as normal a life as possible.
